Depending on the severity of the breakdown of the tooth, sometimes a crown may be recommended. If so, we offer mercury-free metal crowns, zirconia (white) crowns, and composite (white) crowns. The decision of which crown is typically made depending on the location of the tooth and the amount of tooth structure damaged by the decay.
